The American University of Kuwait (AUK) (Arabic: الجامعة الأمريكية في الكويت) is a private liberal arts institution located in Salmiya, Kuwait.[1][2] Established in 2003 by Amiri decree, AUK is affiliated with Dartmouth College.[2] The university offers both Kuwaitis and international students an education based on American stands for higher education.[1] Since 2011, the university has had a College of Business and Economics, which in 2019 was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).[1]
